Experienced APP- Atrium Health LiveWell Care Annex- Charlotte, NC- PT (.6FTE)

We invite experienced Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to discover all that we can do when we bring healing hearts, inquisitive minds and progressive visionaries together in our team at LiveWELL Annex in Charlotte, NC.

Atrium Health is the largest healthcare system in the Carolinas and operates one of the most successful Urgent Care and On-Site Care networks in the Southeast.

LiveWELL Care clinics provide primary care and acute outpatient care services to Advocate Health employees and their covered family members. In addition, LiveWELL Care provides Worker's Comp and DOT physicals as an occupational medicine service for Advocate Health employees.

Position Highlights:

  • Schedule (.6 FTE): Monday-Sunday 7:30-4:30, w/ alternating weekends to cover
  • Additional staff to include RN and/or CMA
  • Practices see traditional acute episodic care and basic primary care for ages 6-month-old- and up for employees and covered health plan lives.
  • Typical patient volume 12-14/day
  • Practice performs Workers' Comp cases for Atrium Health only and some limited occupational medicine exams (DOT)
  • Call responsibility about every 12 weeks (nurse triage first) but no hospital work

Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience required in Occupational Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Urgent Care
  • NC and SC Licensure and DEA; SC license can be obtained after start
  • American Heart Association BLS
  • Must be able to work autonomously
