Internal Medicine Physician (Part-Time .5)- Atrium Health CMC Myers Park Internal Medicine - Charlotte, NC

We invite Board Eligible/Board Certified Internal Medicine Physicians to discover all that we can do when we bring healing hearts, inquisitive minds and progressive visionaries together in our Atrium Health Community Care Primary Myers Park Internal Medicine location.

Atrium Health has large ACGME accredited Internal Medicine Residency Programs - Myers Park Internal Medicine is the primary academic training ground for ambulatory work for residents in our Charlotte-based Internal Medicine Program. This unique practice provides comprehensive care as a certified patient centered medical home primarily to a vulnerable patient population with both medical and social/economic complexities.

Position Highlights:

  • Part-time (.5 FTE) Faculty Role: Ambulatory Clinician Educator
  • Join team of 5 Faculty Physicians, 2 Nurse Practitioners, 44 Residents, and Staff
  • APP Supervision responsibilities
  • Monday - Friday 7:45 am - 5 pm
  • Shared back-up call (first call to resident) + live RN triage service, (Avg 2x/Month for Faculty)
  • Embedded care team support (RN Care Managers, MSWs, CHWs, Diabetes Educator, PharmD)
  • On site x-ray, lab, pharmacy & interpreter services
  • Located less than 2 blocks from our main hospital, Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center
  • Access to additional System level care management resources and virtual technology
  • Market competitive compensation package

Ideal Candidate:

  • Leadership experience welcomed, but not required.
